Icarus

The Greek myth of Icarus tells how Daedalus and his son Icarus were imprisoned on Crete. Daedalus created wings made of feathers and beeswax to escape. He warned Icarus not to fly too low or too high. Icarus, however, ignored his father’s sound advice and flew too close to the sun. As the wax melted, he plummeted to his death.

This story of courage and hubris, but also of unique creativity and of pushing boundaries to craft something almost impossible, provided the inspiration for this collection. Blending unique, creative designs with technical innovation, Icarus uses materials that have never been incorporated into wallcoverings in this way before.
